Cameron scolds Anglicans about their stance on same-sex marriage

David CameronAccording to the British prime minister, the Church of England needs to open its eyes to the current social situation and the rights of individuals

The Church of England needs to “wake up” to the reality of same-sex marriage, said British prime minister David Cameron as Scotland prepares to take a leap forward, legalising marriage between same sex couples.

"It’s something I feel passionately about and I think if it’s good enough for straight people like me, it’s good enough for everybody and that’s why we should have gay marriage and we will legislate for it," he said.
